Senior Accounting Technician - Accounting Support and Data Quality

As part of our finance team, the role of Accounting Technician is of key importance. You will be responsible for contributing to the efficient management of our accounts, ensuring the accuracy of financial data is maintained, as well as providing essential support for a variety of accounting and administrative tasks.

Description of main duties:

Accurately enter and update information in our accounting system.
Record and manage transactions such as invoices, deposits and expense reports.
Ensure rigorous follow-up of accounts receivable.
Prepare and distribute various financial and administrative reports.
Collaborate with the Controller in the preparation of accounting documents.
Manage and follow up on customer account opening requests.
Methodically organize and file business documents.
Proactively contribute to various accounting-related tasks.

Job requirements:

To be successful in this role, you should have at least 1 year of significant accounting experience within a manufacturing company or equivalent. Required qualifications include:

Diploma of Vocational Studies (DVS) in accounting (minimum).
Excellent knowledge of Excel, Word, Outlook and ERP software.
Exceptional written and verbal communication skills in French and English.
Proven ability to effectively manage priorities and deadlines.

Work schedule:

Full-time, Monday to Friday, 8:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
Possibility of occasional hybrid work after the training period.
