We are also well known for our range of dielectric spreader bars designed for electric distribution when lifting and positioning transformers and regulators.
Barry has developed a dielectric rope used for live-line stringing of optical ground wire (OPGW) for a project in collaboration with Hydro-Québec. It enables work on 735-kV energized networks under wet conditions. Barry dielectric ropes meet or exceed ASTM F1701-05 dielectric requirements.
